It has been a busy week getting ready for SQL Saturday Vancouver, planning sessions to present at future training’s and determining new material to present.
Today I submitted 4 sessions to Seattle Code Camp for their June session.
- Using SSRS 2012 Reports to Analyze SQL Server Health
- Unleashing Common Table Expressions in SQL Server
- SQL Server Performance for Developers
- What’s New in TSQL 2012
My new favorite is the What’s New in TSQL 2012. Here is the abstract…
What’s New in TSQL 2012
SQL Server 2012 introduces over a dozen new TSQL enhancements that will make the job of a developer writing queries much easier. This session will explore the details and functionality around the new TSQL functionality introduced in SQL Server 2012. This will include TRY_CONVERT, OFFSET / FETCH, FORMAT, SEQUENCE, THROW exception, sp_describe_frist_set, DATEFROMPARTS, CHOOSE, IIF, CONCAT, PARSE, TRY_PARSE, and more. Improve your queries and productivity by learning what you need to take advantage of these new TSQL features today.
I guess now I wait to see if I get accepted, either way I take what I learn at SQL Saturday Vancouver this weekend, and add to the first 2 sessions, and then get the Whats new in TSQL 2012 going soon.
