This is a fun one, lots of information to cover in one hour, including OVER Clause Enhancements, IIF and CHOOSE, OFFSET / FETCH, FORMAT, CONCAT, SEQUENCE, sp_describe_first_result_set, New Date and Time Functions, PARSE, TRY_PARSE, TRY_CONVERT, and THROW exception.

Unleashing Common Table Expressions in SQL Server

One of my favorites… Even 8 years after Common Table Expressions were introduced to SQL Server, they are still one of those unknown areas for many developers and DBA’s.

Vancouver SQL Saturday was a blast last year. I am looking forward to it this year.
