On February 17, 2021 at 6:00pm Pacific time Derrick Bovenkamp and I will be presenting a webcast training on SQL Server Database Corruption.
After repairing dozens of corrupt databases over the last 6 years we are going to share our experiences. Some of the good, the bad, and the ugly of corrupt databases. What things people did to make it worse, and what people did to make things better.
- Causes of Corruption
- Ransomware is not corruption
- Preventing Corruption
- If you need help
This will be more of an introduction, and what you should doing to reduce the impact if your are hit with corruption, rather than the in depth how to repair it.
Please join the free training opportunity on February 17th.

Hi there Steve, first of all thanks for contributing to the community! My question; is this session being recorded? 6 pm Pacific time is 3 am for me. :-)
Regards Niels
Yes, the session will be recorded. After being edited and cleaned up I will make it available for all who signed up for the session to watch.
Ah great stuff Steve! Thanks!
Same for me, too late (3:00 AM) to watch the session ((
I signed up anyway.
Regards, Antonio
Thanks for the feedback on the timing. It is tough to pick a time that works for everyone. We will record the session and make it available after to all who signed up.
I will keep that in mind for the future when we plan sessions, knowing that no one time works for all, I will schedule some at different times.

Wow, even better! Thanks a bunch!
