Year over year we have had an increase in the number of people regularly using Database Health Monitor as shown in the chart below.
I would like to see this grow at a faster rate, but it does show that the people who use Database Health Monitor continue to use it. Also I have received several feature requests lately from people that I will be working on adding to Database Health Monitor. Here are some of the features that I am working on now:
- A check to the QuickScan report for SQL Server Express database files approaching the 10GB limit. Requested by a customer.
- Aliasing for servers, or a way to add a tag name to the server as it is displayed in the list view. Useful for associating machine names with IP addresses. Requested by a customer.
- Keypad + and keypad – hotkeys for the grid views to increase and decrease the font size.
For everyone who is using Database Health Monitor – Thank you, please spread the word.
If you haven’t tried out Database Health Monitor you can download it and use it for free at http://DatabaseHealth.com
